flowers

I'm so proud! I planted something and it came up! When we bought our house we loved that the landscaping involved just bushes (low maintenance). But then I wanted some color! So I planted a bunch of bulbs. They came up last year okay, but this year they came up brilliantly! The neighbors even commented on them! Who knew flowers could be low maintenance too? Don't ask me anything about annuals or plants in pots, I seem to have a "brown thumb" when it comes to those and they die pretty quickly under my care. But bulbs and perennials...I can do that!
