creating

As I was leaving to help my mom photograph a wedding I left to this scene at our house. Zane was running around outside while Pat painted. I love that our son will grow up surrounded by art and the act of creating. We joke that he'll grow up to be a CPA and marry some girl who loves to decorate country instead of following our artist ways. But what we do hope is that he has such an appreciation for things that are handmade and crafted with someone's talented hands.
