a whirlwind weekend

We are back into our routine today and trying to survive a Monday after a crazy weekend.

We headed up to Decatur late Thursday night and spend Friday helping Brian and Kristi finish last minute details for their wedding. Saturday started off with us girls getting our hair done and then the rest of the day was a whirlwind of events. We all managed not to faint during the ceremony, the sanctuary was very warm!

Pat did a wonderful job on his toast! He was so nervous before but did a great job! After his toast we had all kinds of people coming up to us that were at our wedding and we haven't seen since then. Since you don't remember a whole lot from your own wedding, it was hard to remember everyone! But Pat and I had a blast talking to everyone and got to chat to some of the Pennsylvania people for awhile along with all kinds of other people. The night was over before we knew it and we had hardly hit the dance floor.

Somehow we woke up on Sunday and helped tear down the reception hall. We hung out with some of Pat's family for awhile and then headed home. Sunday was beautiful here in Indy...it was in the 60s and sunny out! I so wanted to take Truman on a walk or something but was exhausted. We opened up all the windows in the house and I crashed on the couch for a nap! I'm thinking I could use another one of those right now...but that will have to wait.

Thanks to everyone who came out to Kristi and Brian's wedding. I think they had a great time! We'll post some pictures that we took when I get them off the cameras.
