help on london please

I'm starting to dig into my research on going to London in May. Any advice and/or suggestions would be great!

I'm trying to figure out what neighborhood would be best to stay in. I think we're going to try to get a flat and of course would like one near a tube station.

Anyways...would love some advice...anything would help!
