new parent haze

As we introduced bottling feeding to Zane this past week I was so excited for Pat to finally get the chance to feed him. Simple...pump some milk for him and Pat gets the chance to have that bonding time of feeding Zane too. Except we had to figure out which bottle and which nipple to use with it. After trying one nipple and finding out nothing was coming out, we couldn't figure out what to do. So I called my mom (who is now on call at all times!) After I described to her our dire situation she said "Maya, don't you have any other nipples to try?"

Oh...of course we do! Why couldn't Pat and I think of that? I guess lack of sleep and the new parent haze might have caught us on that one! Again...we might have that new parent stamp on our foreheads!
